Jimi Hendrix, “First Rays of the New Rising Sun.” Look. The amount of “design” I actually did on this was minimal. You all know this lovely Stanley Mouse painting was going to be the cover of Hendrix’ forthcoming album, whatever the title was gonna be (though honestly, it’s one of at least two or three proposed covers I’ve seen!). But a) it’s hard to find on the internet and b) nobody’s applied the ol’ typeface to it. So I did it. But I claim only a tiny bit of credit on this — the genius here is Mouse!!
