Today’s guest design spot belongs to my co-worker, drummer and great friend Marc Iwanin, who designed a lovely cover for our old band Medication’s imaginary record “I Wish I Was Happy For Awhile” — actually a recording of us from 1999 on Radio K’s “Off The Record” radio program. Medication started playing out just at that magic moment in the early 00’s when British-inflected psych-pop was SUPER-DUPER OUT OF FASHION. So rather than ascend to the heights of pop stardom, they played some low-key gigs, went country, then broke up unceremoniously. Things coulda been different had the tenor of the times been a little…something or other.
