I have never loved the cover of “Music From The Elder.” I suppose it’s iconic, but for such a huge, overblown concept record, don’t we want something a little more — uh, fantastical? This is my attempt at a Ken Kelly-esque fantasy painting. Using the photos to hand, and trying to get the lineup right (with Eric Carr’s “fox” character in there), which alas means our man the Starchild is lounging on the hard ground.
